  2. Type regedit in the Run dialog and click OK.
  3. Search for Spotify and delete detected registry files, such as:

Note: Not all registry files can be deleted immediately. You should repeat step 3 if you find remains of Spotify until nothing can be found. It is recommend to use an automatic uninstall tool to remove the program with ease.

For Windows XP & 7

  • Open My Computer, click Tools/Organize button -> choose Folder Options/ Folder and search options -> Press View tab -> opt for “Show hidden files and folders”option/ “Show hidden files, folders, and drives option-> click Apply and then OK button.


For Windows 8 & 10

  • Open File Explorer, Click View -> click the Options button -> Select Folder Options -> Press View-> opt for “Show hidden files, folders, and drives” -> click Apply and then OK button.win8sho

Step 6: Reboot the computer to take affect.

Tip: Finding a file or folder is very easy for a computer expert. However, it is a hard nut for a novice user to crack. If you think you are the latter, you’d better use a uninstall tool in order to avoid any accident caused by wrong manual operation.



Method Two: Uninstall Spotify on Mac Manually

Step 1: Click Go and select Go to Folder…
